Background
RTS was formed in 2003 by Raj Patel whilst in his second year of an Electrical Engineering degree at Birmingham University. Although his studies were demanding, Raj recognised an opportunity to develop his connections within the education sector to provide innovative technology solutions.
Working with schools and colleges was an obvious choice. They needed work completed during the holidays and Raj had long university breaks in which to plan and deliver transformational technology projects.
Having initially grown RTS through recommendations between educational organisations alone, Raj led the company to begin taking on larger projects and eventually out in to different sectors. RTS has now been an integral part of multi-million pound projects and has run teams up to 30 strong. Our experience over the last decade has led to significant project work with the likes of Nike, the Royal Albert Hall, National Indoor Arena and a portfolio of organisations within the education and private sectors.

The founder and director of RTS, Raj is the AV expert of the team. Always up for getting involved and trying his hand at new things, Raj’s enthusiasm and determination keeps the team in high spirits.

Our IT expert and second director of RTS, Mike brings industry experience and a work-proud demeanour. Often found facing a black screen with lots of white text.

Tej’s love for design and construction as well as his ability to produce outstanding results from any material makes him an invaluable member of all RTS projects.

The newest member of the RTS family, Natalie works behind the scenes to ensure that all our records and finances are in good order.

RTS’ first apprentice. Now a full qualified electrician and integral member of the team, Aidan uses his vast knowledge of entertainment and PA systems to help RTS deliver the best in Audio Visual solutions.

As a Mechanical Engineer, Sanj loves nothing more than creating elaborate structures from Unistrut. He’s also PRINCE2 qualified so helps ensure all of our projects are managed correctly.
BrettBrett
Brett brings over 12 years of IT industry experience to RTS. He’s delivered a diverse variety of technology solutions to organisations ranging from small business up to entire government departments. Helpfully, he’s also Cisco qualified.
